Invise appoints former Meta executive Cecilia Sundström as new CEO
Invise strengthens its leadership team by appointing Cecilia Sundström, former Director Nordics at Meta, as its new CEO. The appointment marks the next phase in the company’s development, with an increased focus on digital strategy, CRM, data and AI, alongside a structured expansion across the Nordic region and Europe.
“Invise has a culture and a level of capability that truly stands out.”
— Cecilia Sundström
Cecilia explains that her decision was shaped by her meetings with Invise’s owners and leadership team:
— What attracted me most was the overall picture: the people, the ambition and the energy in the organisation. After each meeting, it became increasingly clear that Invise combines culture and competence in a way that is quite rare. That made the decision easy.
Invise strengthens its position in digital business development and the HubSpot ecosystem
In recent years, Invise has broadened its offering and now works with increasingly complex assignments in digitalisation and technology. This development has created a growing need for leadership that is both technically grounded and closely connected to the business—a key reason behind the recruitment of Cecilia.
Camilla Agardh, CEO of Siloy Group, comments:
— Cecilia brings an impressive track record and is a strategic appointment for both Invise and Siloy’s continued growth. Her strong commercial focus and customer perspective, combined with her ability to build engaged teams, make her the right leader for the next phase.
Cecilia leaves Meta following a period of stabilisation and performance improvement
Cecilia has served as Director Nordics at Meta since 2020, overseeing some of the region’s largest advertisers and partners. During her tenure, the organisation moved from loss to growth, strengthened key customer relationships, and achieved one of Meta’s highest employee engagement scores globally.
— I had reached the objectives set for my role. What I was looking for next was an environment with shorter decision-making paths and the opportunity to build together at a higher pace. Invise offers exactly that, she says.
She also points to a market where companies face increasing demands driven by digitalisation and personalisation, which are areas where Invise has already established a strong and relevant position.
Key priorities in the role: structure, development, AI and technical transformation
As CEO, Cecilia will lead the work to:
- further develop Invise’s offering across strategy, CRM, data and AI
- strengthen structure, ways of working and the organisation’s ability to deliver at greater scale
- drive continuous learning and innovation across the business
- ensure customer value and delivery quality remain central as the company grows
- continue investing in the culture and the people behind Invise
— AI is reshaping how the entire industry operates. Organisations that integrate the technology into their core operations and build learning-driven cultures will gain a clear advantage. I want Invise to take that position, Cecilia explains.
A leadership approach focused on clarity and development
— My leadership is people-first, but always with the customer at the centre. When teams have clear goals, the right conditions and a culture where feedback and development are part of everyday work, both quality and growth follow, says Cecilia.
She also notes that Invise is entering an important phase:
— Invise has a solid foundation and is ready to scale. It feels right to step in at this point, as the company moves from an entrepreneurial setup towards a more structured and scalable organisation.
As market demands for integrated marketing, sales and technology solutions continue to rise, leadership becomes a decisive factor for Invise’s future direction. Against this backdrop, the board views Cecilia’s appointment as a strategic step.
— Invise is entering a period where expectations around efficiency, technology and connected customer journeys are increasing rapidly. We have built a strong foundation, and with Cecilia, we gain leadership that can translate that foundation into scale. Her mandate is to take us into the next phase and establish Invise and Siloy as a clearer force across the Nordic region and Europe, says Camilla Agardh.
